November 21, 2020 – Elizabeth Irving was presented with the prestigious Young Artist Academy Award for Outstanding Music Single for her debut song REMEMBER. Elizabeth received recognition in this category with other talented youth from Canada and the United States.
The Young Artist Academy was founded in 1978 by Golden Globes Executive Maureen Dragone and is the longest running organization recognizing youth in the film and music industry. This year the 41st annual awards event was virtually held with numerous industry trailblazers offering words of praise and congratulations to the nominees and winners; Scarlett Johansson, Sir Patrick Stewart, George Takei, Kelsey Grammer. Past honorees include: Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Leonardo DiCaprio, Ryan Reynolds, Bradley Cooper and many more. With the excitement of the song came a wave of emotions, Elizabeth wrote this song when she was going through challenging teen times, and was fixated on her image and how others viewed her and lost who she was for a brief period of time. Elizabeth has learned to REMEMBER that she is powerful and beautiful in her own individual way and wants to remind everyone to REMEMBER to love themselves.

Inspired by Ingmar Bergman’s film Smiles of a Summer Night, the story is a series of trysts, twists, and revelations that climaxes (so to speak) during a weekend gathering at a country estate. July 2016 – Elizabeth has been invited to perform during another ICC Ceremony welcoming new Canadians at the Vancouver Art Gallery July 27, 2016. Update: Elizabeth and her family were invited to a round table discussion prior to the event and were heart warmed hearing their stories and the joy in becoming a Canadian. The event was filmed by CBC as part of a documentary and will air in 2017. Elizabeth was humbled to invited to take part in such an event.
July 1, 2016 – Canada Day events across the city will include Elizabeth performing for 30 new Canadians receiving citizenship. One of the songs Elizabeth will sing is ‘Believe’ from the 2010 Olympics. Elizabeth is blessed to live in a country “true north strong and free.”

October 2015 – Elizabeth was asked to sing at the unveiling of the “Wait for me Daddy” monument, celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Claude Dettloff’s famous photograpth. Warren “Whitey” Bernard is the little boy in the famous picture, he signed a picture for Elizabeth and gave her the toonie that is minted with the statue image for the event.
